After the system starts up, Travis checks the filter (in this case, a media filter). The filter is in decent condition but could be better, so Travis leaves the decision to replace the filter up to the customer. Outdoors, the condensing unit appears to be running as it should. At the power supply, Travis checks the wire sizing.
Travis disconnects the power and takes the top off to look for spots where the wires might be rubbing out. After checking everything inside the outdoor unit, Travis vacuums out any leaves and other debris from the bottom. He then gives the unit a good rinse. After double-checking the wiring and examining the copper lines and components inside the unit, he puts it back together and moves inside.
Travis checks the wiring at the indoor unit and gives the air handler a wipe-down with cleaner. He also runs water down the drain to flush it out and reassembles the unit.
Once the unit is clean, Travis takes his readings with gauges and inspects the unit once more. He cleans up his tools and leaves.
