In this booth interview from the 5th Annual HVACR Training Symposium, Bert does some catching up at the Amply booth with Ed Smith and Eric Fitz. Amply is an HVAC sales software program that lets users scan a room on their tablet and get accurate geometry of the room to assist with load calculations.

Amply lets contractors scan customers’ homes in real time, getting customers involved in the design process and building trust between homeowners and contractors. Load calculations can lead straight to equipment selection, and the software can even simulate the finished installation from an aesthetic standpoint (such as where the equipment will go and how it will look). It’s easy and quick to collect information, and this information can be shared with the installation team to improve communication and results.
